Spider Shade Carrier for Ceiling Shades

This spider can be used to hang a lampshade which has a duplex fitting (like a large ring inside the shade, at the top).

First attach it to the Lamp holder on the ceiling pendant 

Then rest the shade on the top of it.

You will require a plastic shade reducing ring for BC and SES lamp holders - sold separately
