Original 1940’s Tin and Hollophane Glass Industrial style shade

A lovely example of an original hollophane shade.

Reclaimed from a Church, tin outer shell with heavy glass interior.

Glass is intact with no chips or scratches while time has a slight dent (pictured) and has been painted brown at some point to blend into the church walls, there is putting to this brown paint. 
The glass is held into the tin with metal clips and it may be possible to remove to sandblast the outer layer to remove the paint. 

This shade was held onto the original fitting using a collar and knurled screws however we would recommend using a traditional metal lampholder and shade ring as the tin is now quite delicate and any collar should be decorative only and not for support
