This 2183Y lighting flex cable has an overall diameter of 5.7mm and is designed for use in table lamps, floor lamps, and pendant lights.

 It has three inner copper cores (brown for live, blue for neutral, and green/yellow for earth) with a 0.75mm² cross-sectional area and is double insulated with an outer PVC sheath. It carries up to 6A (1440W at 240V), ideal for modern lighting installations. Available in various colours, including Gold and Antique Gold, this slim, flexible cable fits easily in tight spaces like hollow all thread. It’s easy to use, long-lasting, and cost-efficient but not suitable for heavy machinery or narrow antique rewiring.
